Anderson Jack Plugs

Anderson jack plugs are for use when using an auxiliary battery for starting or warm up of a race car. This enables you to keep your on-board battery at maximum capacity for the race. They are supplied in 2 identical halves which securely fit together to complete an electrical connection. The plugs are supplied complete with crimp type cable connections. Half plugs can also be purchased separately, ideal if you are making numerous hard wired cables on pit equipment or of the vehicle has a plug already fitted.

Anderson jack plugs are available in the following options:

• Standard 175 Amp - Red Plug: Suitable for high current applications. Available as a complete plug (2 halves) or as a half plug. Cable terminals included. Terminals accept cable up to 11.2mm diameter. Suitable cable can be found here.
• Small 50 Amp - Red Plug: Suitable for lower current applications. Available as a complete plug (2 halves) or ad half a plug. Cable terminals included. Terminals accept cable up to 3.5mm diameter. Suitable cable can be found here.
• Small 50 Amp - Grey Plug: Suitable for lower current application. Available as a half plug only to match an existing grey 50 amp plug. Cable terminals included. Terminals accept cable up to 3.5mm diameter. Suitable cable can be found here. These are NOT compatible with the red small 50 amp plug.
