Remote filter heads are designed to relocate the engine oil filter due to lack of space in the original position. This makes them useful for engine conversions or other modifications which limit space.
These Mocal remote filter heads allow 76mm to 98mm diameter oil filters with a 3/4 UNF thread to be fitted. A range of suitable filters can be found HERE.
Options are available -
- Option 1 - Has 1/2" BSP inlet and outlet ports both on left side. The housing features a boss on the top between the 2 ports which can be drilled and tapped for an oil temperature or pressure take off (maximum size 1/8" NPTF or M10 thread)
- Option 2 - Has 1/2" NPTF Inlet and outlet ports both on right side
- Option 3 - Has M22 x 1.5 inlet and outlet ports both on the left side. The housing features a boss on the top between the 2 ports which can be drilled and tapped for an oil temperature or pressure take off (maximum size 1/8" NPTF or M10 thread)
- Option 4 - Has 1/2" NPTF inlet and outlet ports on both the left and right sides. Blanking plugs are supplied to black the ports not being used.
