Spax RSX Coilover Suspension Kits come with hand-build, on-car adjustable dampers, threaded stainless steel spring seat adjusters, aluminium anodised spring seats, and carefully matched chrome-silicone coated springs.
Spax have been hand-building dampers in Great Britain for over 60 years and those are the starting point of any of their suspension kits. Spax dampers utilise a resilient twin-tube design fully hand-assembled in-house, filled with oil and krypton gas. Spax tend to make almost exclusively adjustable dampers. These are on-car adjustable with a single knob controlling both bump and rebound. The damper units are normally adjustable either at the top of the damper or at the base, according to where and how it is mounted. The krypton gas helps the damper resist heat fade.
Ride height is adjusted using threaded spring seats. These mount onto stainless steel threaded sections. The stainless steel is very important as it stops the adjusters seizing up with corrosion.
This gives you a huge degree of control over how your car handles. You can dial in the balance and damper response on your car very precisely enabling the same set-up to serve for both daily driver duties, and more strenuous weekend-car purposes.
Spax RSX dampers are fully rebuildable and features like stainless spring seat mounts, and the double coating process help keep these in good condition even when used in winter on British roads.
