While the majority of drivers, riders and racers want the world to hear the sound of their exhausts there are - unfortunately - rules and regulations in some areas and at some circuits that limit the amount of noise an exhaust can emit. While silencers can do a great job in, well, silencing the noise; they don't do the whole job and traditional silencer wadding doesn't quite cut the mustard either. So what can you do? Acousta-Fil exhaust silencer packing has been designed and developed to fill the gap around the silencer that allows the noise to escape, reducing decibels significantly by being cut to size and wrapped around the perforator.
