When you attempt to improve performance you also increase the amount of power and, subsequently, noise and heat generated by a number of parts connected to the wider system. Design Engineering Inc. is a company founded back in 1995 who understood this issue, and set about resolving it with their own range of heat and sound insulation products that prevent heat from damaging other crucial parts and components, and kept noise to a minimum where possible (as not everyone enjoys the sound of a track day exhaust on the quiet streets around their home!) Exhaust wraps, one of Design Engineering's leading products, are designed to keep the gas inside the exhaust as warm as possible and, therefore, as thing as possible; helping to emit the gases from the system more efficiently and allowing the engine to work harder. From their premises in Ohio, Design Engineering - under the stewardship of founder Dale Markley and his wife, Nancy - grew and grew, taking their range of thermal tuning products to the masses both nationally and internationally.
