I have loved everything with engines, wheels, wings, tracks and hulls since I could crawl. My father worked in the tyre and motor industry as I grew up so I could always indulge my hobby. He owned several 1930's cars so we used to go to vintage rallies and classic races which helped grow my passion as a child. I counted down the days to my sixteenth birthday so I could have the freedom of the open road in my motorcycle. I quickly realised having two wheels meant I could visit military history landmarks I had read about in books. A road trip with history thrown in, doesn't get much better than that! I then found some of my cars and bikes were not as I wanted them so started to enjoy modifying. I have built two motorcycle sidecars, I almost enjoy the building as much as the riding. I have owned two wheels, three wheels (cars and bikes) and four wheels. It's great to do a job that is also your hobby, although I might draw the line at filling out spread sheets!

Although I've worked at Demon Tweeks for nearly 14 years, I'm relatively new to the motorcycling world (three and a half years), but I got the "bug" very quickly! In a short space of time I've been very fortunate to have had some phenomenal experiences, from riding around the Losail circuit in Qatar under the floodlights to enjoying the beautiful twisty roads and stunning scenery in Scotland. I've also been very lucky to have ridden lots of different types of bike from a BMW 1250GS to a Kawasaki ZX10RR, but my favourite has to be the Yamaha R1M which was simply stunning! I'm incredibly passionate about all things two wheeled, I love to watch and/or attend MotoGP, WSBK and BSB as well as the truly unique Isle of Man TT. My personal taste when it comes to bikes is predominantly modern naked bikes or modern retro styled bikes, things like the Yamaha MT-09 or MT-10, Yamaha XSR900, Ducati Scrambler and Ducati Monster to name a few.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I get to combine my passion with my work! I've been an avid fan of motorcycles and racing my whole life; if it has 2 wheels and an engine, I'm interested! Having been around the motorcycle industry since high school, I trained as a technician upon leaving and now ride motorcycles as much as I can, I've even had a few fun years of racing. To this day I still enjoy learning about, and sharing my experiences of motorcycles with colleagues and customers. Full of random facts and a massive 2 stroke fan, I am always happy to talk bikes!
