These Silicone Intake Hose Kits from Mishimoto are designed to improve the cars air intake system.
Replacing restrictive factory pipework with wider bore silicone pipework these big bore intake hoses improve flow-rate and reduce restrictions and turbulence through the factory system.
In some cases replacing rippled flexipipe with smooth silicone signficantly smoothes airflow, as does a wider bore.
This helps get as much air as possible into your engine as quickly as possible, preventing you from losing power to your pipework, and allowing your engine to breathe more easily.
