Fuel and oil systems in motorsport vehicles are engineered to deliver optimal performance and reliability under extreme conditions. The fuel system typically includes high-flow fuel pumps, injectors, and pressure regulators, designed to ensure a consistent and precise fuel supply to the engine. These components are often made from lightweight, durable materials such as anodised aluminium and stainless steel, capable of withstanding the high pressures and temperatures encountered in racing.

The fuel pumps are usually high-capacity units capable of delivering large volumes of fuel at high pressure to meet the demands of high-performance engines. Oil systems in motorsport vehicles are designed to provide reliable lubrication and cooling to the engine and other critical components. Dry sump systems are commonly used, featuring an external oil reservoir, multiple scavenge pumps, and pressure pumps. This setup ensures a constant oil supply even under high g-forces, preventing oil starvation and maintaining optimal lubrication.

Oil coolers, filters, and lines are carefully routed to maximise cooling efficiency and minimise resistance.
