Karting Suits & Clothing

If you are looking to compete in karting, one of the first things that you will need is a karting suit. Specifically designed for the purpose, karting suits from Alpinestars, OMP and Sparco are constructed from an abrasion proof material to provide protection in the event of an accident. The minimum requirement for competing in organised club or national championships is that the suit has to be CIK FIA level 2 approved. This means that it offers two layers of protection against abrasion.

As karting is open to ages of 8 and above, most suits have child sizes available which are adapted from adult karting suits to ensure they offer the same levels of protection.

To go along with your suit you will need gloves and boots, these are also available in our kartwear section along with body protection, wet suits and underwear. Or for fireproof suits, head over to the race suit section of our Motorsport department.
