These Alloy Battery Tray features a high quality alloy construction, ideal for competition environments.
The Race Safety Accessories battery trays are a lightweight but study option when battery relocation is required. The trays include an additional mounting lip to ensure ease of mounting to a range of surfaces, whilst also include a securing bracket panel for either Varley 'Red Top' 30/40 Type batteries or Transit type batteries. The trays contain a solid base surface with drilled side panels, with the drilled holes featuring a swaged finish. This provides the trays with a maintained strength but reduces weight over solid alloy panels.
We recommend the use of foam in the bottom of the tray to minimise vibration being transferred to the battery thus improving reliability.
