Tarox F2000 Grooved Bespoke Brake Discs

The TAROX bespoke range is a unique service which has grown in popularity with the increase in sports saloons and sports cars use of a racing style brake systems and the decline in availability of parts for classic and rare models. The use of sliced rolled steel billets allow Tarox to work without relying on cast, enabling the recreation of any brake disc, whether it is a small single piece disc with a plain surface for a concourse Lamborghini Miura or a two piece bell and rotor replacement for an Audi R8. 40 years of braking experience ensures a solution is always available for your braking needs.

Made from steel billets as the foundation from which the manufacturing process begins, allows manufacturing flexibility but the gains in performance are extremely significant. When finished, a pair of TAROX bespoke discs will have Ultimate Tensile Strength of 57kg per square millimeter; more than double the CEE standard of 25kg.

The Tarox F2000 Front Disc is the most 'track focused' disc from the brand with a radial swept groove which enables a great balance between heat dissipation and durability. The grooves are designed to generate a turbine effect which dissipates heat build up, allowing the discs to run cooler and reducing the possibility of warping, vibration or cracking. They also help deglaze the pads and expel gases, for reduced fade and stable braking under extreme operating temperatures. All F2000 discs are heat treated for strength and hand finished (machine ground) to ensure the smoothest possible braking surface.
