The Alpinestars Halo Drystar Textile Motorcycle Pants are a multi-season adventure touring pant with an innovative outer layer. These pants can be adapted to all weather conditions, with a large opening vent panel on the thighs that deliver maximum airflow.

The Halo pants are made from a polyester ripstop stretch material with a breathable Drystar® membrane to create maximum comfort and to make sure you’re dry no matter what the weather. There are reinforcements on the pants made from leather on key areas to increase the safety. The pants include a large foldable panel which can efficiently distribute airflow to create a cooler experience if travelling in warmer temperatures.

The Drystar liner can be removed if needed to create a cooler ride in warmer weather and can also be folded on itself for a lower packing volume. 100% fully waterproof whilst offering high performing breathability. Alpinestars’ history in motocross means they are keenly aware of the needs of full weather protection in a single piece of clothing. Drystar uses a separate membrane layer that sits behind the top outer layer of the jacket and can be removed, as with other inner membranes this does mean rainwater that lands on the outer layer is soaked in but never gets far enough to make your clothes under your jacket wet. The Halo pants come with inside waist and lower leg adjusters for a more optimised fit. Along with this the pants include back knee, crotch and back yoke stretch panels for superior freedom of movement and enhanced comfort. Included with these pants are detachable suspender/shoulder belts which always keep the pants in position. The reinforced lower leg knee and seat area are included in the pants for enhanced durability.

The pants come with Nucleon Flex Pro armour as well as the Bio-Flex hip armour which delivers optimal protection against impacts. This helps the pants reach the fully certified AA rating which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).
