The Alpinestars Missile V2 Ignition Leather Motorcycle Suit is crafted from premium Bovine leather with dual layers in exposed areas for superior abrasion resistance. The suit is the ideal choice for those looking for a high-performance garment ideal for racing / track use, thanks to its highly pre-curved body, arms, and Knees. It also has a dedicated ‘ignition’ graphic for a striking racing-inspired aesthetic and detachable comfort liner for convenience.

With the external DFS protectors on the knees, shoulders, and replaceable elbows this suit delivers optimal resistance against impacts and abrasions also offering exceptional friction control. The internal Race spec GP-R armour is soft for ultimate comfort and delivers extensive coverage and protection in key zones. This suit also has the Bio-Flex Race hip armour which uses a cell structure to allow optimum airflow with an adaptive shape for increased rider comfort. The Hip Armour offers high levels of protection with a discreet and comfortable design.

The suit is fully CE-certified to CE – category II prEN17092 standards – AAA Class. The AAA class is the highest level, demanding four seconds of abrasion resistance with the machine spinning at 707.4rpm (the equivalent of 120km/h) in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees), two seconds at 442.1rpm (about 75km/h) in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and one second at 265rpm (around 45km/h) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).

The innovative MATRYX structural panels on the abdomen areas provide a performance for ventilation and superior resistance to tearing and abrasion while also being extremely thin and lightweight. The polyamide stretch inserts offer optimal abrasion resistance while ensuring enhanced freedom of movement.

Another key feature of this suit is that it is Tech-Air ready, meaning it is ready for use in the Tech-Air 5, complete with new race algorithm which is available as a download, and the new Tech-Air 10 air bag system with extended Hip protection.
