AP Racing Factory Competition Brake Kits

AP Racing are the worlds number one brake specialists and have applied their unrivaled experience into developing a range of brake kits suitable for competition use. Designed as a direct bolt on replacement to the original brake set up, however larger aftermarket wheels are usually required for clearance.

• Larger diameter 2 Piece disc set up with lightweight aluminium mounting bells to reduce rotational mass
• 4 or 6 piston calipers to provide optimum stopping power
• Direct bolt on fitment (larger wheels may be required)

The factory competition brake kit range offers increased stopping power through larger diameter discs with powerful multi piston alloy calipers. Some kits are supplied with competition brake pads for more consistent braking effort and excellent resistance to fade see individual product notes for brake pad details.

Included in the kit:
Large diameter vented brake discs, grooved to allow pad surface gas build up to escape.
Alloy calipers with 4 or 6 pistons dependent on application.
Competition brake pads (unless otherwise stated in the notes.
Aluminium disc mounting bells. Prevents heat distortion and stress cracking in the disc.
Aluminium caliper mounting brackets (some kits use lug type calipers where a mounting bracket is not required).
High tensile mounting hardware.
