Design Engineering Cool Tape
Design Engineering Cool Tape offers a flexible, easy to apply solution to help reflect heat away from important components such as wiring or hoses. Cool Tape can also be used on the inside of fairings, body panels etc to protect paint finishes from extreme heat. It can withstand up to 1093°C (2000°F) of radiant heat as well as being flexible and easy to apply with a strong self adhesive backing.

Design engineering cool tape is manufactured using a woven heat resistant glass fibre matting with a 1 mil aluminium material bonded to it for excellent heat reflection. It has many automotive uses to protect against heat sources and is also ideal to use with other Design Engineering products such as Reflect-A-Cool, Heat Screen or Floor and Tunnel Shield to obtain a more professional finish.
