HKS Hybrid Sports Oil Filter
The Hybrid Sports Oil Filter from HKS is designed to minimise pressure drop on highly tuned engines. HKS have carefully designed the filter to offer better flow-rate when compared to a paper filter. This is especially important when using higher viscosity oil in highly tuned turbocharged engines.
The filter itself uses an unwoven cloth/plastic fibre composite element for high strength and low pressure drop.
A special super stealth frame stops the filter element from deforming. A neodymium magnet catches small metal particles and stops them flowing back into the engine.
The HKS filter also has enlarged intake holes inside the filter, again to ensure high flow rate.
