Ecommerce Product Lister

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Ecommerce Product Listing Assistant to join our growing Performance Car team here at DT.

The role in a nutshell:

You'll need a passion for all things cars and great Excel skills.

You’ll be working closely with our brand manager and will be responsible for creating and maintaining website product listings and our master vehicle data set for our busy Performance category at Demon Tweeks.

To be a great Ecommerce Product Listing Assistant you’ll need:

  • A keen eye for detail – There’ll always be lots of details to add to listings so looking for small mistakes and ensuring all details are accurate and thorough is essential.
  • Great numeracy and literacy skills – you’ll need to write fluently to adapt and create briefs for online product listings and promotions.
  • Great Excel skills – you’ll need to know your way around a spreadsheet!
  • A methodical approach to work – an ability to manage your own time and keep on top of workload is essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines - we have a quick turnaround time on products so being able to work quickly to help get them online is essential.
  • Interpersonal skills – you must be able to communicate well and form good relationships within the office team.
  • PC-literate – you’ll need to be able to operate Microsoft Office programs and have working knowledge of the web.
  • Prior experience with eBay would be beneficial but is not essential.

A good understanding or personal interest of the automotive industry and performance vehicles will help in this role.

An interest in basic JavaScript, HTML coding, SQL or Visual Basic would also be beneficial, although not essential.

Vehicle Technician

Highly skilled, motivated, and looking for a change? Love luxury and performance cars?

We're seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy team in our Fitting Centre here at Demon Tweeks.

From a simple tyre repair through to a bespoke exhaust system or a software upgrade – our in-house technicians supply and fit most of our core product range, including suspension, exhausts, tuning components, brakes, wheels/tyres, induction kits and ecu remaps. Our team can also offer more bespoke services such as tyre shaving, custom made exhausts, track car builds including seats, harnesses and roll cages.

With the very latest state-of-the-art digital imaging 4 wheel tracking system, tyre machines capable of fitting up to 24" tyres and an immaculate 8 ramp fitting bay, our modern, clean Fitting Centre at Demon Tweeks has built an enviable reputation for providing a fast, honest and efficient service.

Safety is everything in this role, so you'll need to be committed to the highest standards of compliance, detail and care in your work. You'll be happy to work with targets, in a team, and to work efficiently to keep our customers happy.

  • To be a great addition to our team, you'll need:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience of working on cars in a technical capacity, particularly in suspension, Steering components, brakes , diagnostics, exhausts and alignments.

  • The ability to communicate to a varied customer base
  • A current full valid driving licence
  • A commitment to developing and learning new skills

2nd Line Support Engineer

As the 2nd line escalation point, you'll work with our first line support team to maintain and monitor all IT systems, and understand and resolve technical issues in a prompt and professional manner. There will also be lots of support and collaboration with our management teams on IT projects across the Group.

  • Day to day, you will:
  • Respond to either 2nd line support or end user software or hardware queries via email, phone or face to face.
  • Work with the IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team.
  • Provide assistance to the various reporting and alerting systems within the business.
  • Liaise where appropriate with 3rd parties in order to resolve issues.
  • Assist other IT technicians and management with updates, changes and new installations of IT software and hardware.
  • Maintain a strong polite customer focus at all times.
  • To be a great 2nd Line Support Engineer at DT, you'll need:
  • At least 2 years experience of working within a busy IT team.
  • A robust knowledge of SQL and the ability to write detailed SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting database issues.
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with and administering databases such as MySQL, SQL, Oracle.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware including pc's, printers, switches, servers and networking.
  • A sound working knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Windows and Office 365 products as well as Server OS and Active Directory.
  • Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as vmware.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software faults.
  • Knowledge of IP based telephone systems.
  • Knowledge of OMS (Order management systems) especially ‘Maginus' would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Magento to aid the supporting of our ecommerce platform would be beneficial.
  • A recognised IT qualification such as A-level, BTEC, or degree.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Professional/Administrator (MCSP/MCSA) or similar qualifications would also be desirable.

Purchasing Executive

We're seeking a new Purchasing Executive to join the team here at Demon Tweeks.

This is a fast-paced and interesting role working within the Purchasing team. You may have purchasing experience or be an experienced administrator with transferable skills, who wants to further their career within this field.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for:

  • Drafting and placing orders and cancellations
  • Progressing orders and updating our systems
  • Liaising both internally and externally with suppliers and customers
  • Arranging parcel and pallet collections
  • Assisting with stock management
  • Liaising with the Warehouse team to manage incoming large deliveries
  • Regular contact with suppliers to review expected ship dates and quantities
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with suppliers
  • Monitoring orders and providing updates to the Customer Service and Marketing teams

What you need to be a great purchasing executive:

  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks, while always retaining a high level of accuracy
  • GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Good computer literacy and Microsoft office skills, including excel
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Efficient administration skills

Online Marketplace Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Online Marketplace Assistant to join our growing Product team here at Demon Tweeks.

You'll need a passion for all things cars and great Excel skills. You’ll be working closely with our eBay Manager and will be responsible for creating and maintaining eBay listings for all channels of the Demon Tweeks group.

From day one we'll teach you all about our products and processes and you'll learn how respond to queries quickly and become better every day.

This role is fast paced and busy during peak season, so you'll be working from Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.
