KW's engineers have provided a damping setup that offers greatly enhanced handling whilst still being compliant enough for real-world use. If you're mostly driving on the road KW's set-up is probably going to be an ideal fit-and-forget solution.

As Coilovers sit under the vehicle getting sprayed with rainwater, salt and other dirt and road debris, corrosion is a common problem that can lead to adjustment problems or premature failure. KW Coilovers use stainless steel housings on most kits, durable twin-tube construction and corrosion-resistant springs and bump stops to ensure their V1 Coliovers are built to stand up to real-world road use.

KW Suspension manufactures their own springs, allowing them to select exactly the right combination of spring and damper required to match a specific vehicle and achieve the optimal balance of sportiness and practicality.

As each KW Suspension Coilover kit is vehicle specific, not all Coilover kits can provide adjustable lowering amounts due to the limitations of the vehicle design. In these instances, KW's expert suspension engineers will have developed a fully tested, fixed lowering amount, that provides the best lowering and handling combination.

Suspension products are generally listed by Axle Weight/Axle Load. This information can be found on your VIN plate and should be checked prior to selecting your replacement components, to ensure the best fit and vehicle compatibility is achieved.

Where a kit is listed for vehicles with adaptive/electronic damping it means the Coilover kit comprises the V1 Coilovers and KW's own warning light cancellation kit, to enable you to deactivate/remove the factory adaptive damping.

Please Note: On vehicles where sports suspension is a factory option (e.g. Audi S-Line, BMW M-Sport, Mercedes AMG-Line) the lowering amount shown is for vehicles without. If your vehicle has optional sports suspension you will have to deduct the amount the vehicle is already lowered by. This can be up to 30mm.
