Lumenition Engine Rev Limiter

The Lumenition engine rev limiter has been designed with engine protection in mind, the rev limiter allows the engine to produce full power up to the rev limit yet provides complete protection against over-revving. The rev limiter is ideally suited to complement the optronic and performance ignition systems but can be fitted to any engine having a single coil inductive type ignition system (contact breaker or electronic) up to 12 cylinders. The engine rev limiter is easy to install with only three wires to connect.

Luminition engine rev limiters come preset to 5500 rpm (4 cylinder), 3667 rpm (6 cylinder), 2750 rpm (8 cylinder) The rev limit is user adjustable via a screw on the side of the unit. Turn clockwise to increase the revs and anti-clockwise to decrease the revs.

Suitable for the following rev ranges:
4 cylinder - 4500 to 18000 rpm
6 cylinder - 3000 to 12000 rpm
8 cylinder - 2250 to 9000 rpm
12 cylinder - 1500 to 6000 rpm
