If you are looking to compete in organised karting championships or competitions, you will need to get yourself kitted out in clothing which is CIK and FIA approved for use in Karting. Unlike traditional racewear for use in cars, karting suits, boots and gloves do not need to be fire proof, and instead the main quality that all karting clothing must possess is to be abrasion proof.
