The Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 is designed from the ground up to be effective off-road, whilst remaining competent and comfortable on road.

The triple-polymer blend compound and tread pattern have been designed to be both durable and strong. The tyre should be both long-lasting and resistant to damage. Specific sidewall armour protects one of the most vulnerable spots of the tyre from damage, and the sidewall is reinforced for excellent grip.

The tread pattern itself is designed to both be usable on-road for good wet stopping distances, and effective off-road with features like mud-and-stone ejectors to keep grip levels on muddy terrain.

Yokohama has also carefully designed the tread pattern to be smooth and quiet on-road with a carefully varied tread pattern to minimise road noise and low-speed comfort. By staggering the tread pattern you avoid the sensation of the tyre not rolling evenly.
