AP Racing Factory Big Brake Kits

AP Racing Factory Big Brake Kits are complete, ready to fit, brake kits suitable for high performance road and trackday use. By utilising high performance 4 or 6 piston alloy calipers and larger diameter 2 piece discs they offer the highest level of braking for road and trackday cars.

These high performance brake kits are made to AP Racing's exacting standards and use 4 or 6 piston calipers with large diameter and wider discs for consistent high performance braking. The discs are usually a 2 piece design comprising of a high quality rotor and a lightweight alloy mounting bell. This reduces rotational mass and reduced costs of replacing discs. The increased width of the disc combined with optimised cooling vanes provides increased heat dissipation to reduce disc the risk of warping and prevent overheating. Most discs have grooved or drilled faces depending on application.

All AP Racing brake kits have been specifically designed for each application, and disc diameter and width, and caliper type and size have been carefully worked out to offer the best possible performance for that vehicle. Kits include APF404 compound, high quality fast road brake pads. Other pad compounds are available to purchase separately.

Kits typically contain 2 x large 4 or 6 pot calipers (depending on application), 2 x large diameter discs (1 or 2 piece depending on application), aluminium caliper mounting brackets, braided brakelines, brake pads, AP Racing brake fluid and all necessary fittings.
