Dzus Fasteners & Clips
- 1 of 1
Invented in the 1930s by American engineer William Dzus, spiral cam fasteners were first developed to help secure panels in place on planes and high performance vehicles providing a more effective and long-term fixing. Over the years these fasteners were developed and adapted, using new technologies and manufacturing methods to open up the Dzus range of fasteners and clips to the wider automotive market. This meant that mechanics and those on the assembly line could fix bodywork, panels and fairings in place on high performance cars and motorcycles using the most advanced fasteners, clips and fixings available. Fast-forward to today and Dzus fasteners are still widely used throughout the automotive industry with new models rolling off the production line utilising Dzus parts, and repaired, resprayed or modified panels using Dzus fasteners for a seamless, reliable and long-lasting fastening.
