The EBC EPFA brake pads are an upgrade on the Double-H sintered pad. The main benefits of the EPFA pad is the improved fiction and better heat cycling for race or extreme road use.
- Improved friction levels compared to standard Double-H sintered pads while offering increased stability and feel while under braking.
- Perfect application for Superbike, Street and Trackday use
- Provides longer braking life than a standard Double-H sintered pad
So for occasional track days these would be your best option as they have superb fade resistance and modulation making them good-to-excellent on the track. The EPFA series compound consists of tungsten and moly-metal which brings consistency and stability even under extreme conditions. The EPFA pads have a Vent Groove to prevent backplate deflection and possible de-lamination.
Within one year of their launch, EBC Double H sintered pads became the standard by which all brake pads for street bikes were judged because of their long lasting and powerful braking effect. Double-H pads claimed their name from the industry standard gauge for measuring friction levels on brake pads, with virtually no brake fade.
