HKS Turbo Timer X

The HKS Turbo Timer X has been developed since 1982 to prevent bearing seizure in turbocharger’s by allowing the engine to idle after the ignition key has been removed.

Developed and sold since 1982 this is the 10th generation of Turbo Timer from HKS, featuring a simple and clean design the Turbo Timer X has single button control and one-digit display for ease of use and quick recognition of the set time.

Using a high capacity relay the turbo timer prevents bearing seizure in turbochargers and is ideal for use in vehicles with high performance turbo engines.

A seized turbocharger can often be caused by the user not letting the engine cool after heavy use, switching the ignition off when the turbo is still hot can leave hot oil still in the turbo and cause rapid seizure and result in an expensive repair bill. Using a timer to leave the ignition idling for 5 to 10 minutes can help prevent this by gradually cooling down the oil in the turbocharger and prevent bearing seizure.

With 5 time ranges selectable between 1 to 30 minutes, the turbo timer is intuitive and simple to use.

Compatible with existing HKS Turbo Timer Harness. Not for use with vehicles with push-button ignition, running vehicles should not be left unattended.
