The Knox Ladies Scarlett Skinny MKII Motorcycle Jeans have a high-waisted style, and have been constructed from stretch 10oz Cordura denim woven with COOLMAX. Cordura fabrics are well known for having high durability and are the fabric of choice in some of the world's toughest environments. With over 30 years of trusted performance, the fabric is highly durable for performance apparel. Cordura fabrics are resistant to tears, scuffs and abrasions, so they are not only high quality, but also long lasting. Coolmax is a synthetic fabric that has been produced by DuPont, and is distinguished by how it accelerates the elimination of body moisture through the fabric's outermost layer where the sweat dries 50% faster than in any other natural or synthetic fibre. The result is increased breathability which ensures better skin temperature regulation and increases comfort even at the highest temperatures. DuPont Coolmax is composed of hollow fibres that rapidly carry moisture outwards thanks to the process of osmosis that enables 50% faster drying compared to Cotton.

The Jeans have then been seamlessly part-lined with DuPont Kevlar fabric which is a heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibre which is highly cut/abrasion resistant. DuPont Kevlar is used in a variety of clothing, accessories, and equipment to help make them safer and more durable. With five times the strength of steel based on an equal weight basis, it’s the go-to fibre for protective apparel and accessories. They are then internally lined with a lightweight stretch cotton for comfort, breathability and its naturally antibacterial qualities.

For rider protection, CE approved Knox MICRO-LOCK armour for the Knees and Hips have been supplied as standard, and there are invisible armour pockets with external access for easy removal, great for when you are out and about and don't need the armour off the bike. The Knee pocket is also adjustable, so that the maximum amount of coverage and protection is provided for each individual rider. The MICRO-LOCK armour comes with a 5-year guarantee when registered.

Additional features include YKK zips being used throughout, and deep pockets for the storage of essentials.
