Loctite 7649 is an activator which promotes the curing of Loctite anerobic sealants and adhesives. It can be beneficial for passive metals or inert surfaces with large bond gaps. It is also recommend for use in ambient temperatures below 15 deg C.
- Increases the cure speed of anerobic sealant and adhesives
- Ideal for large bond gaps, passive metals or inert surfaces
- Aids curing in low temperatures
Loctite 7649 is sprayed to the bonding surfaces prior to the sealant or adhesive being applied. It is easy to apply via the aerosol.
Applications: Gasket sealing, pipe sealing, retaining, thread sealing, thread locking.
