POR15 Fuel Tank Sealer Kit

The POR15 Fuel Tank Sealer Kit is designed to de-rust and seal any pinholes, cracks or leaky seams without welding.

The POR15 Fuel Tank Sealer Kit contains everything you need to repair and restore any small fuel tank.

Cleaner Degreaser - is ideal as the first step to renovating corroded metal as it removes all traces of dirt, grease wax and other contaminants which leaves the surface ready for painting or rust treatment. It can also be diluted in hot water to effectively clean out the inside of petrol or oil tanks. Although highly effective on metal components, POR15 cleaner degreaser can also be used to clean vinyl, canvas and nylon.

Metal Prep - gently etches metal, creating an ideal anchor pattern for coatings such as POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, while simultaneously leaving a zinc phosphate coating to insure chemical bonding of paint and steel. POR-15 Metal Prep is not caustic, corrosive, toxic or flammable.

Fuel Tank Sealer - The POR15 Fuel Tank Sealer is resistant to fuels, alcohols and fuel additives. Fuel tank sealer is poured into the tank and then the tank rotated in all directions to ensure the whole inside of the tank is coated. It chemically bonds to the tank forming a strong permanent seal which resists further corrosion. It is recommended that the tank is prepared using POR15 cleaner degreaser and then POR15 metal prep to ensure the tank is clean and rust free before using the tank sealer.

Available in 3 sizes to suit fuel tank capacities - Up to 4.5 Gallon (Approx. 17 Litres for Motorcycle tanks), Up to 9 Gallon (Approx. 34 Litres) and Up to 18 Gallon (Approx. 68 Litres).

1 x 946ml Cleaner degreaser, 1 x 946ml Metal prep, 1x 473ml Petrol tank sealer that will seal up to 9 US Gallon tank / 7 1/2 UK Gallon (34L)

FSTS215 (4.5 Gallon) includes
1 x 946ml Cleaner degreaser, 1 x 946ml Metal prep, 1x 236ml POR-15 Petrol tank sealer that will seal up to 4 1/2 US Gallon tank / 3 3/4 UK Gallon (17L)
