TST Ultra Cooling Vest

The Ultra Cooling vest from TST provides the ultimate in body cooling. Each vest houses 17 or 21 'Temptech' elements (depending on size) which absorb temperatures above 28 Deg C. Body skin temperature is usualy around 32 Deg C so the cooling effect can be felt as soon as the vest is put on. The vest itself is made from lightweight Polypropylene which can transfer up to 40 times more moisture than Polyester. It also dries up to 3 times faster so any perspiration is quickly drawn from the body to keep you in a comfortable temperature Zone.
The high elasticity of the material combined with stretch side panels provide a very close fit to provide the highest level of moisture wicking. The cooling vests are treated with an antibacterial agent which keeps it fresh and odour free.

Keeping your body cooler reduces heat stress which can lead to lack of concentration and dehydration and ultimately your performance will suffer. Just 2-3% loss of body fluid through sweat reduces your performance by 20-30% which is why it is important to keep within your temperature comfort zone to be at your very best.

The Temptech elements in the Utra Cooling Vest recharge at room temperature (20 deg c) so no need to put them in a refrigerator or freezer like some other cool vests. Recharge time is around 4 hours and this time will be reduced if the ambient temperature is lower. Once charged the elements provide up to 4 hours of cooling in an ambient temperature of 45 Deg C. The Temptech elements are guaranteed for 1000 cycles if properly maintained.
