Take Off Plates
Take off plates, also known as sandwich plates, are essential components in performance vehicles, providing a convenient interface for connecting external systems such as oil coolers, pressure sensors, and temperature gauges. These plates are typically installed between the engine block and the oil filter, allowing oil to be diverted to and from the external systems without modifying the engine's original design. Technically, take off plates feature multiple ports with threaded fittings, which facilitate the attachment of hoses and sensors.
