Weber
Formed in Bologna in 1923, Weber is a company owned by Magneti Marelli - part of the Fiat group - who produce high performance carburettors and parts for the automotive market. Now producing their parts in Madrid, having moved production to Spain in the 1990s, Weber carburettors are developed for both road going and track racing cars; and have been the factory components for models from the biggest names in car manufacturing including Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Lamborghini, Porsche and many more. While fuel injectors have come along and replaced a lot of carburettors, Weber carburettors are still readily available for historic racing and vintage cars with models such as the Weber DCOE carburettor having been used in a number of race-winning cars over the years. The Weber 45 DCOE and Weber 40 DCOE styles are two of the most popular options open to drivers still looking for original parts for high performance classic racers or vintage classics.
