ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Formula

The ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Formula was originally designed to protect aircraft from existing and new corrosion and is now available to motorcyclists.

The ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Formula forms an 'Active' ultra-thin clear film when applied to the bike which can kill any existing corrosion cells, protecting your bike against new corrosion. On areas such as switches or under the tank / seat, one application will last up to 12 months. Other more exposed areas will need topping up more regularly.

ACF-50 is able to neutralise road salt and cause water to bead on contact, making it an ideal choice for those who have a bike which is used all year round / in all weathers. ACF-50 is also a lubricant and penetrant, so when you put your bike away for the winter, if you apply ACF-50 it will stop moisture causing any damage.

Referring back to the point about ACF-50 being designed to protect aircraft, these type of products must meet exceptionally high standards – ACF-50 has met these standards comfortably, and then gone further to be awarded Aviation approvals - MIL-SPEC 81309 types II and III – meaning it is approved for use on ‘ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical systems and electronic components'. Following tests on Jets held on their aircraft carrier, the US Navy found that ACF-50 significantly reduced the corrosion they had previously experienced, so they started using it all the time. This product works perfectly in the harsh environments you can image the US Navy endure, so you can trust it protecting your Bike.

How to Use - Keep the tin in a warm environment, shake very well before use and remember a little goes a long way. Use a rag to help soak up and spread excess product.

Use ACF-50 anywhere, (except the brakes) including the engine and exhaust. Safe on paintwork, most rubbers and brings up black plastic trim a treat.

ACF-50 contains no water and is approved for electrics so spray directly into electrical joints and components where it will prevent corrosion induced failures and high resistance joints.

ACF-50 is also able to stop dirt, mud and salt from sticking, meaning that when you come back from a ride at any time in the year, a quick wash off and protection is still there.

Areas not in direct contact with the elements i.e. tank/seat areas, electrics require treating approx. once a year. Other exposed areas re-apply as necessary.

ACF-50 is still active on the surface when water is beading on contact - having no water content and not being water soluble, ACF-50 only dissipates by being 'sacrificial' whilst stopping existing or new corrosion, so just re-treat as required.
