The Exide Maxxima 900DC high performance battery is developed for applications where high cold cranking currents and shockproof construction are demanded. These batteries perfectly fit into race cars, construction machines, agricultural machinery and emergency vehicles with short distance use (fire brigade, ambulance, police). Exide have optimised the innovative concept of orbital technology, which is based on an enlarged plate surface. The key to maximum cold cranking and starting power are wound battery cells with thin electrodes, rolled evenly and compact. This design ensures a rapid recharge of due to low internal resistance and high charge acceptance (over 100 A). This exceptionally durable and reliable battery is the perfect choice for the most demanding conditions. The Maxxima 900DC has the added features of being designed to withstand excessive discharge and recharge cycles, as well as superior resistance to vibration - up to 17 time more than a conventional battery!
