Pitking Products Titanium Turbo Blanket Heat Shield

These Titanium turbo blanket heat shields from Pitking products are designed to wrap around the hot side of the turbocharger housing and reduce the amount of radiated heat. This hugely reduces the under bonnet temperatures which benefits engine performance by providing a cooler air intake and by keeping the heat in the turbo housing it allows for faster spooling, improving the turbo performance. Ideal for applications where a higher heat rated shield is required (suitable for direct heat up to 800° C).

The Pitking Products turbo blanket heat shields are manufactured using multi layers for optimum heat control. The innermost layer is made from a knitted stainless steel mesh to withstand the extreme heat from the turbo housing. The middle layer is a thick titanium fibre construction which provides excellent insulation to keep the heat within the turbo. The coated outer layer provides a long lasting great finish with abrasion resistance. Heavy duty rivet studs with springs provide a strong and secure fixing to the turbo and can be installed in situ.

Available as a heat shield only with spring fasteners or as a kit which includes: Heat shield, spring fasteners, a 2" wide x 15ft long roll of volcano titanium exhaust wrap and 4 x stainless ties.

The exhaust wrap included in the kit allows a section of the exhaust downpipe from the turbo to be wrapped to further reduce the heat in the engine bay.

Titanium turbo blankets are available in a range of sizes to suit different turbochargers.
