AEM Electronics Stainless Steel Absolute Pressure (PSIa) Sensor Kit
AEM Electronics Stainless Steel Absolute Pressure (PSIa) Sensors provide highly accurate and rapid monitoring of pressure referenced against absolute zero pressure, available in a variety of working pressure ranges*. Ideal for applications requiring accurate feedback of positive and negative (vacuum) pressure applications.
- Stainless-steel sensors are accurate to within 1% of full scale (pressure sensors)
- High-quality sealed sensor housings are virtually impervious to automotive fluids (360-degree welded wetted area)
- Connector and pins included
AEM's Absolute pressure (PSIa) sensors accurately measure pressure referenced against absolute zero. Absolute zero is the pressure measurement when all the pressure exerted by the atmosphere has been removed. The most common use for absolute pressure sensors is reading manifold pressure. PSIa pressure sensors are essential for applications that measure vacuum. A PSIa sensor will read about 14.7 PSI when the sensing element is exposed to atmospheric pressure at sea level, however, they can be recalibrated to read zero at atmospheric and a negative number at values less than atmospheric pressure. Stainless Steel sensors offer greater accuracy and faster response to pressure changes when compared to their equivalent brass body sensors, making them ideal for ECU data feeds or calibration type applications, for example, ECU MAP sensor information.

Sensor | Max Sensor Range | Burst Pressure |
---|---|---|
30-2130-15 | 15 PSIa (1 BAR) | 150 PSI |
30-2130-30 | 30 PSIa (2 BAR) | 300 PSI |
30-2130-50 | 50 PSIa (3.5 BAR) | 500 PSI |
30-2130-75 | 75 PSIa (5 BAR) | 500PSI |
Please Note: *Each sensor operates in a specific PSI range from absolute 0 PSIa (Approx. -14.7 PSI) to its identified maximum pressure unless recalibrated. e.g. a 30 PSIa sensor, measures from -14.7 to +15.3 PSI, so please ensure you choose the correct sensor for your application.
