About this Car Seat
Rearward-facing is widely regarded as the safest way for a little one to travel in a car seat and it is advised that you keep them rear-facing for as long as possible.
The latest in their exceptional Minikid line, the Axkid Minikid 4 allows your child to stay rear-facing all the way up until they’re around seven years old and it has passed the rigorous Swedish Plus Test, so you know you’re getting one of the safest seats out there.
Fitting inside your vehicle with the car’s internal three-point seatbelt, the Minikid 4 can be installed quickly and easily in just 60 seconds. The built-in automatic lower tethers secure the seat to the anchor points or seat runners and the three-point belt secures the seat in place.
You can then pop on the side impact protector onto the side of the seat nearest to the car door. This useful little bit of kit helps to spread the harmful forces of an impact away from your little one through the shell of the seat.
The seat will grow with them from their baby days all the way up until they’re around seven, it does this by growing with your child. The harness and headrest can be adjusted in seconds to give the perfect fit. Unlike some of the other extended rear-facing seats on the market, the Minikid 4 has loads of legroom for them as they get older, as much as 30cm.
The Minikid 4 has them covered if they need a snooze too. With multiple recline positions they can snooze away happily and it will stop their head from lolling forward too. When they’re a bit smaller and the seat might not be as snug as it should be, Axkid have thoughtfully included a comfort insert to make sure they’re as snug and safe as they can be.
When they inevitably get the seat dirty, you can take the fabrics off and pop them in the wash at 30°.
