About this Car Seat
Get ready to move with the affordable and safe Axkid Move Car Seat. This cool Swedish seat allows your little one to travel rear-facing for longer (widely accepted as the safest way to travel); from 9kg all the way up to 25kg, (from approx. 9 months to 6 years!). The seat has been approved up to European standards ECE R44/04 and Swedish PLUS tested up to 25kg so you know it's super safe!
Developed in conjunction with a recognised crash institute in Germany, Axkid have come up with an innovative side impact protection, ASIP. Use the ASIP on the side of the seat closest to the car door and it will help reduce the forces from a side collision and keep your little one safer. You install the Move rear-facing in your car using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt. It's compactly designed, so it can fit in both small and large cars, taking up little space.
A support leg is extendable at the rear of the seat; the button on the side of the leg extends it to the length you need until it clicks into place. The support leg works in tandem with tether straps to provide superb stability. The Move comes with a flip-out recline so can be adjusted in two positions. If you need a further recline, there is an angle-adjusting wedge, available separately, to help get the best fit for your Axkid car seat. The Wedge is ideal for bucket seats and other unusual seat designs as it fills the gap between the child's car seat and the vehicle's seat to make the ride safer and more comfortable for your little one.
The headrest is also height adjustable to 3 fixed positions and your little one will be held comfortably in the soft seat thanks to the padded harness. For your convenience, the seat cover is removable and machine washable at 30°c.
