About this Car Seat
BeSafe has taken their years of knowledge and put it into designing an amazing car seat that keeps your little one rear-facing until they reach 125cm (which is around 7 years old), this is widely considered to be the safest way for a little one to travel. The BeSafe Stretch Car Seat is installed using your vehicle's 3-point seatbelt too meaning it will fit in most cars – even in the front passenger’s seat.
Designed with a unique external frame on the seat, it’s designed to give your little one market-leading leg space in the market for a rear-facing seat while also keeping your child safe in the event of an accident. The seat shell has a very rigid spine that will make sure your child is kept in a stable position in an impact all of which led to it passing the world’s toughest crash test – the Swedish PLUS test! Despite all of this, the seat still only weighs a tiny 10kg, so moving it between cars is easy too. There are also additional safety features in the additional side impact protection (SIP+) which easily slides onto the seat on the side nearest the door and the protective and soft headrest with its innovative Dynamic Force Absorber.
You may think all this safety means your little one won’t be comfy in the seat – you’d be very wrong. The headrest moves to one of 10 positions, there are removable inserts that you can remove as they grow, up to 26cm of leg space and 5 recline positions, not to mention the high-quality materials used! You may think that your little one will outgrow the seat quickly, but it is designed to see your little one all the way to 125cm, which is usually around 7 years old, and it’s certified for use up to 36kg too!
BeSafe also considered the functionality of the seat when they made it. With the belted installation it can be installed in any seat (as allowed by your car manufacturer), except the driving seat – they are not old enough for that yet!! The retracting lower tethers make it easy to install correctly while the easy lock-off and tensioning system give a sturdy installation. The magnetic belt assistants make getting your little one in and out of the seat easy as it holds the belts out of the way and the recline feature can even be used while it is installed. All of the adjustments, like the headrest, leg space and belts can all be done one-handed.
