Pagid
As part of the industry-leading TMD Friction Group, Pagid is the UK's leading name when it comes to brakes and brake parts. Originating in Essen, Germany, back in 1925 it wasn't until 1950 that the brand took on the Pagid name and began making brake linings for everyday road-going vehicles. These first steps soon became giant leaps in the wider industry as both Volkswagen and Ford adopted Pagid brakes as their OE supplier in the 1960s. By the 1980s Pagid brakes were fitted to iconic cars including the VW Golf and Scirocco, the Porsche 944 and 911 and the Mercedes S-Class. In 2001 the company was taken over by the TMD Friction Group bringing in significant investment in manufacturing, R&D and racing with the Pagid name now a household name in motorsport and motorcycling. Today, Pagid brake pads, discs and kits are used in all corners of the world from the Autobahn to Route 66 and every in between. Developed on the track but just as comfortable on the restricted UK roads, Pagid brakes - including popular collections such as the Pagid RS4-2, RS20 and RSL29 brake pads - continue to set the standard in braking systems with every single set of Pagid brakes made in their state-of-the art facilities across Europe.
