Sunoco
The story of the Sunoco brand dates back to 1920 when they started out as a petrol station selling - as they put it - "premium gas at regular prices." By the mid-1950s Sunoco were starting to find that they were now such a popular filling station that they started blending their own range of high-octane fuels, including Sunoco 260 GT, and before long racers were coming along to fill up their fuel cans (and tanks), with Sunoco race fuels. In 1966 Sunoco entered professional motorsport, immediately fuelling race-winning cars and the rest - as they say - is history. Today, FIA-approved Sunoco race fuels are used the world over in various different forms of motorsport from professional NASCAR racing in America to amateur competitions around the UK.
