About this Car Seat
The first of its kind, the Cozy N Safe Comet 360° Group 0+/1/2/3 Car Seat allows you to fit the seat in your car using Isofix and a Top Tether strap (so no bulky support leg) and leave it in place for the whole time your little one needs a car seat without having to adjust the fitting – so from birth right through to 36kg (approx 12 years) – WOW! It even has a 360° swivel feature, what more could you ask for?
Once the seat is fitted in your car, the seat starts its life as an extended rear-facing seat for your newborn that will see them through to 4 years old. There is an insert to ensure your precious newborn is snug and safe which can be removed as they grow. As the Comet has a rotating seat, you can turn the seat to face the car door making getting your little one in and out much easier. There is the option of turning your little one forward-facing from 9kg but travelling in a rearward seat is up to 5 times safer in the event of a collision. The harness is self-adjusting so it moves with the headrest making your life easier.
When they are ready to change to a forward-facing seat, simply pull the handle and twist the seat to face forward. They will continue to use the harness until they reach 18kg at which time they switch to using the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt but the seat can still be secured using the Isofix and top tether points. Once they have outgrown the harness it is really easy to store away inside the seat so they are no parts to mislay! The seat belt simply routes through the seat as shown in the instruction manual.
Finished in a faux leather outer with luxurious, soft-touch, inner cushions with extra deep padding and quilted chest and buckle pads the seat will look great in any car. The seat has side impact protection built-in to the durable and ventilated shell to provide extra protection to your little one. The covers are fully removable and washable at 30°C too as your little one is bound to get them a little grubby over 12 years!
