About this Car Seat
Once your little one has outgrown their infant carrier you need to move them onto the next stage seat, but which one to choose?? Cozy N Safe have made the decision easier by making the Hudson Group 1/2/3 Car Seat which will cover them from 9 months old until they no longer need a seat. Even better than that, the integral harness can be used all the way up to 25kg, which is 7kg more than most seats in this category.
There are lots of different ways to install the car seat in your car depending on what age and weight your child is and what fixings you have in your car.
Until they reach at least 18kg (around 4 years old) they will use the seat with the 5-point harness. The seat can be connected to your car using both the Isofix and the Top Tether points or with the vehicle seat belt; either way, there is no bulky support leg to deal with!
Next comes a choice of whether you continue to use the harness until they reach 25kg (around 7 years old) or whether you move onto the vehicle seat belt. This will determine whether you continue with the ISOFIX and top tether (for the 25kg harness use) or use the seatbelt (and ISOFIX if you like).
The headrest is a great invention- it can be operated with one hand, and adjusts the harness simultaneously, so no more rethreading the harnesses when they grow, just lift the headrest and the harness rises with it. For your little one's safety, the Hudson features strong side impact protection to protect the head, body and hips in the event of a side collision.
Using a car seat for this length of time is going to mean it will get dirty - don't worry, Cozy N Safe has considered this and have made the covers removable and washable.
