About this Car Seat
Once your little one has outgrown their infant carrier they will need a new car seat! The Cybex Pallas S-Fix will see them right through from 9kg (approx 9 months) all the way up to 12 years when they don't need a car seat anymore - talk about value for money!
Starting its life as a group 1 car seat, your little one is held in place using an impact shield. This shield is adjustable to fit your child so they are always comfy. This shield reduces the risk of serious neck injuries and has an improved overall crash performance. The impact shield gives your child more free movement of their upper body but also maximum safety (particularly in frontal impacts) when compared to a 5-point harness system!
Cybex also have their patented 3-position reclining headrest on this seat. The idea behind the technology is that when your child sleeps, they can end up with their head falling forward meaning they are no longer protected by the side of the seat, this reclining headrest eliminates this problem!
When your child has outgrown the shield at 18kg, the Pallas S-Fix converts into a high-back booster seat that allows them to be secured via the seatbelt up to 36kg. Featuring the Cybex L.S.P. System Plus, the adjustable shock absorbers allow the seat to absorb energy from a side impact which allows the head to be actively guided into a safe position.
The Pallas S-Fix offers a long-lasting solution for your car seat needs, and there is no need to worry about material fatigue, Cybex have this covered too by using thermoplastic polymers in the manufacture to prevent wear and tear - they really have considered everything!
