About this Car Seat
The Cybex Solution G i-Fix is in a league of its own when it comes to car seats; it’s got great safety features, stunning fabrics and superb comfort for your little one, the Solution G i-Fix i-Size Car Seat can be used from 100-150 cm (which is around 3 to 12 years) - that's impressive longevity.
The Solution G i-Fix features Cybex’s patented reclining headrest which cleverly prevents the child's head from falling forward while asleep and guarantees optimal protection in the case of a side impact. The reclining headrest is a revolutionary technology that can be adjusted and safely shifts the balance point of the child's head slightly back. This prevents the child’s head from falling forward while asleep. It's not just the headrest that reclines, the seat itself has an easy one-handed seat recline! Engage the recline mechanism and the backrest goes back and the seat and bottom section moves to allow them to ease back into a position much more comfortable for sleeping.
The ISOFIX points allow the seat to be easily installed into the car and they stop the seat from moving around when the child isn't in it, but the seat and child must be safely secured with the car's three-point seatbelt when the child is present.
Being too hot can lead to a little person being naggy, but the Solution G i-Fix has a cooling ventilation system to combat this. The fabric, where it's positioned and the general design of the car seat all work together to ensure air flows easily through the seat and that hot air is carried away from the fabrics and the child, making sure that they stay happy and comfy.
It also features the Cybex Linear Side-Impact Protection (LSP) on the side of the shell, which offers increased safety during a side-impact collision. It pops out of the side of the seat and reduces the forces of an impact by around 25% compared to not using the LSP system.
