Design Engineering Heat Screen Matting
Design Engineering Heat Screen is capable of withstanding direct heat up to 650° C on one side, while protecting against radiant heat up to 1093° C on the aluminium side. Heat Screen can be used to protect the drivers compartment or engine bay components from excess heat or to protect areas where excessive heat can blister paint.

- Ideal for firewalls. bulkheads, footwells and body panels
- Easy to trim to size and shape
- Thin enough to fit in the tightest of spaces (just 1.5mm thick)
Design Engineering heat screen is also useful where exhaust pipes run close to the fuel tank and many other applications too numerous to mention. It can be applied with a high temperature adhesive, or fastened down with screws or rivets.
Available with a plain backing or with a high temperature self-adhesive backing.
