The Garmin Zumo XT GPS Sat Nav has an ultrabright 5.5" display which is brighter than previous Garmin models. The display is also glove friendly, and offers a crisp HD resolution in landscape and portrait modes. This Sat Nav is Rain Resistant, and has been built to a military standard 810G for thermal and shock resistance.

For route guidance, it is easy to change between spoken turn-by-turn directions when riding on the streets of Europe, to pre-loaded topographic maps in Europe and also to Global BirdsEye Satellite Imagery which can be downloaded directly to the device with no annual subscription - all map updates included. There is also the option of Garmin Adventurous Routing which find curvy and / or hilly roads for you to enjoy.

This Sat Nav offers an array of safety features, include BLUETOOTH hands-free calling, rider alerts for things such as sharp bends, automatic incident notifications to your pre-determined contact and it also pairs with a inReach Satellite communicator - sold separately.

Using the Garmin Drive app you are able to get live weather and traffic information, share routes with friends and have notifications come through from your phone. You can also import and share GPX files using the Garmin Drive App. This Sat Nav has a track recorder to record your route, along with being able to manage and review routes, tracks and waypoints across your navigator, smartphone and computer using Garmin Explore ecosystem. Additional features include being able to stream music from your Smartphone, or play MP3 files held on the device itself. There is also iOverlander which provides information about points of interest, TripAdvisor traveller rating and much more - information provided by Foursquare.

This Sat Nav has a battery life which lasts up to 6 hours (3.5 hours with backlight at 100% brightness), but it can also be hard wired to the Bike for constant power.
