Heusinkveld Engineering Sim Handbrake Black

The Sim handbrake black from Heusinkveld Engineering is a versatile pressure sensitive handbrake that uses load cell technology. The lever can be set in a horizontal or vertical position with adjustability of up to 26 degrees so you can fine tune it to the perfect position. Maintaining the same dimensions of the classic sim handbrake with a more compact base yet it can handle a much higher force.

• All structural parts are CNC precision laser cut steel with a bead blasted or Black fine-structured powder coat finish. It is strong, compact and incredibly durable.
• The lever actuates a 120kg load cell, resulting in up to 22kg of actual force measured at the lever
• Using Heusinkveld SmartControl software, you have complete freedom to set custom non linear output curves

A 2 stage spring system provides resistance when pulling the lever. An initial metal coil spring simulates the pad to disc gap or slack on the handbrake cable. The main loading on the handbrake is simulated by compressing the elastomers, giving an unprecedented progressive brake feel.

The Sim Handbrake comes with a powerful configuration tool that allows you to set up the handbrake. SmartControl allows for instant mapping of (non linear) output curves, dead zone and handbrake force. All settings can be saved into profiles and can be loaded up again in a few mouse clicks.
