A fan shroud is a shaped cover for the radiator designed to draw air over the fins into the fans. The design is optimised to draw air over the whole surface of the radiator ensuring none of your radiator core cooling efficiency is wasted.
This is particularly of benefit at slow speeds or in other situations where a constant supply of air to the front of the car isn't assured (like going sideways for example – did we mention Mishimoto are well known in the world of drift?).
Mishimoto pairs the shroud up with their low-profile high-performance fans, capable of increasing airflow up to 1850 cfm and reducing idling temperatures up to 12.2°C (22°F). These are rated for specific vehicle applications and their slim (max depth of just 76mm) design helps make room in your engine bay. Constructed from strong high-quality components and finished in corrosion-resistant black powder coating, these fan and shroud kits are compatible with both stock and Mishimoto radiators.
Mishimoto Fan and shroud kits are also compatible with the Mishimoto's Adjustable Fan Controller and temperature sensor kits which feature either a 1/8 inch NPT or Probe temperature sensor, adjustable activation temperature from 150°F to 240°F, suitable for 1 or 2 electric (12V) fans drawing a combined 25 amps or less, Built-in A/C override feature, 7ft of wiring and includes the necessary fitting connectors and hardware, for those looking to take full control of their electric cooling set up.

These kits offer all the great features of the fan and shroud kit and include the adjustable fan controller with a probe-type temperature sensor, designed to mount on/near the radiator fins, for those applications where no radiator NPT port is available.
