A Mishimoto Oiled Cotton Universal Air Filter is high performance air filter offering outstanding airflow and filtration.
For applications where a full out of the box air intake is unavailable or not wanted, building your own intake can be a good option.

A Mishimoto Oiled Cotton Air Filter is a good option. Oiled Cotton offers great filtration. The combination of oil and cotton absorbs a lot of particulate. It also keeps water out of the inlet.
By going to a cone or cylinder shape, you gain considerable surface area than a flat filter element. The more surface area you have, the more air can make it through the filter.
This means that no matter how tuned your engine is, the air intake system needn't be a bottle-neck.
One big upside of a Mishimoto Oiled Cotton Air Filter is that unlike a paper element, you can clean and reoil the air filter with a Mishimoto Air Filter Cleaning and Reoiling Kit.
