MSD Ignition Digital 6-Plus Electronic Ignition Control

The MSD Digital 6-Plus ignition control box allows you to maximise the performance of a distributor based ignition system. It is capable of delivering over 530 volts to the coil with up to 135mJ of spark energy for maximum power, cleaner emissions and smoother running. The Digital 6-Plus provides multiple sparks for 20 degrees on each firing stroke for maximum combustion efficiency. It also has the provision to retard timing for nitrous or to aid engine starting.

As well as improving all round engine performance and efficiency the Digital 6-Plus also allows you protect your engine from over revving with the in-built 2 step rev limiter. As well as limiting maximum rpm you can also set a 2nd lower rpm limit which can be triggered by a switch making it perfect for launch control. The Rpm limits can easily be set via the rotary dials on the unit.

The Digital 6-Plus also allows for a single stage retard ideal for engines running nitrous. it also has a start retard function to allows for easier engine starting, reducing the pressure on starter motors and flywheel.
